The Ecobank Group “Welcomes its new president: Papa Madiaw Ndiaye"

During Ecobank Transnational Incorporated’s (ETI) recent 36th Annual General Meeting, we were pleased to introduce Papa Madiaw Ndiaye, the new ETI Chairman of the Board of Directors.  

Papa Ndiaye is the CEO and Founding Partner of AFIG Funds, a leading private equity fund management company. He brings a proven track record of leadership and a deep commitment to Ecobank’s mission and strategic agenda.

His appointment comes at a pivotal time as we implement our Growth, Transformation & Returns strategy - which focuses on enhancing shareholder value and achieving sustainable growth.

We look forward to the future under Papa Ndiaye's guidance. His extensive experience and knowledge will steer Ecobank towards continued success and help us reinforce our position as a leading pan-African banking group.
